Embroidery / VOLIKES CREATIVE

Plan your embroidery before the first stitch.

Embroidery brings a design to life with thread on fabric. A successful brief connects the artwork to the garment, placement and finished size. Volikes Creative supports the digital artwork and digitizing stage; physical garment embroidery is arranged with your decorator.

Artwork that suits thread

Fine strokes, tiny lettering, gradients and closely spaced elements do not always translate directly from a printed logo into embroidery. Share the original brand artwork and specify which details must be preserved. Any simplification should be agreed before digitizing.

Placement changes the brief

A structured cap, polo shirt, workwear panel and jacket back offer different sewing conditions. Include the garment construction, fabric, placement and final width and height. For caps, identify the available sewing area and any seams that affect the design.

Flat embroidery or a raised finish?

Flat stitching and 3D puff create different results. For puff, mark the raised areas and include the foam details if known. Mixed flat and raised elements should be identified clearly so the digitizing brief reflects the intended finish.

From sample to production

Review the stitch file through a test sew-out on the intended garment and backing. Share clear photographs and specific observations with the studio if adjustments are needed. The decorator approves the production setup, including thread, needle, stabilizer and machine settings.

Common questions

Do you stitch the garments?

This website offers digital artwork preparation and digitizing. Physical garment embroidery is arranged with your decorator.

Why is a test sew-out important?

The result depends on the actual fabric, thread, stabilizer, machine and setup. A sample helps the decorator check the design before a production run.
